Can one virus kill another virus? |
Can virus kill each other then can we use aids virus to kill virus of polio or malaria or any other kind there are no known viruses that do that No such thing.Virus wont kill other virus coz they have different receptors on them.So, they would even recognized each other.Virus only have the receptors for their target cells.Example is the AIDS virus.The HIV have the specific receptors for CD-4 and CD-8.That's why the HIV virus caused immune suppresion in the infected person,causing no other harmful effects on them,exept they will dying out inside out coz their immune system failed to protect them from opportunistic pathogens. |
