What would happen if aids mutated and become an airborne virus? |
Would the world as we no it become extinct? We would all be f ***ed !!! Bye bye human race; it was nice knowing you I would be wearing a dust mask all the time. than there would be no more living things in the world No, the world would be ok but I think wed all die... I bet theyd find a cure faster though. We would have to wear masks. we'd be screwed...the world wouldn't become extinct though... a number of animals and insects would still live. we would all be on those aids commmercials BASICALLY IT WOULD BE THE END OF THE WORLD!! OR MAYBE THEN SOMEONE WOULD FINALLY GET ON THE BAND WAGON AND FIND A CURE I really dont know about this, I think that maybe we need to get more information on it. I know this is an abnoxious answer, but it simply couldn't. AIDS dies immediatly when exposed to oxygen. If it mutated to survive in this condition then it wouldn't be the same virus. However, if it did somehow..... then we would have a major problem. I don't think that the human race would become extinct but it would have catastrophic concequences. Why are you asking this question....... any plans? :) every body will have aids and die and never be cured. Only humans would die (HIV=Human Immunodeficiency Virus), and that could still take a while since AIDS has a long incubation period before the disease becomes terminal. HIV mutates at a very high rate, even faster than the flu virus, so I would say this might be possible. Have you ever seen the movie "Outbreak" or read the book "The Hot Zone" by Richard Preston? They are both about the Ebola virus becoming airborne. Really scary stuff. We'd all be doomed. They would immediately release the cure for AIDS which has been locked up for years, due to very high and particular interests around the globe. Hundreds of millions of people would die around the world - very similar to the plague that infected Europe in the middle ages. However- Why would you ask a question, within a question then answer it? yup |
