Can rats get Aids or Carry the virus?

could rats carry the virus or get Aids from Human body fluid?
lets say if a rat bite a person with Aids, or somehow got enough human body fluid from a person with Aids could they get Aids too, and if so could they spread it to humans?

AIDS is caused by the HIV:
H=Human
I=Immunodeficiency
V=Virus

Rats don't get AIDS, or carry the virus that causes it; therefore, they can't pass it on to humans. They do carry and transmit infectious diseases like rabies and the bubonic plague (among others) to humans and other mammals alike.

Some primates {specially Western Equatorial African chimpanzees} carry and transmit a virus that's very similar to HIV. In fact, HIV is a mutation of this primate virus, which is more than 98% genetically identical to the HIV. had hot rat sex

shared needles with a rat

have an infected rat mom who birthed you

any way, sucks to be you

no no no...you cannot give anything to a pet! don't worry...

stop tampering with stuff. LOOK im sure some dirty perv sha**ed a monkey so we now got hiv (thats how i believe it was passed on as im sure aids/hiv is a monkey disease) so stop passing it on to other animals!卢
