Does the aids virus attack the t cells? |
Does the aids virus attack the t cells? Since it's a virus, yes it does, because like HIV, aids attack and disable the body to bring in killer T cells, memory b cells and others. The attack of t. cells isn't that bad in aids but it does cause a various days of sickness. If a person knows in advance they might have it, it's suggested to go to the doctor and get antibiotics, to help send in killer t cells. Yes! A T cell count is one way of knowing how advanced the illness is. yes. Thats why it is so deadly. It kills the very cells that are supposed to protect you. Eventually you die of some other infection like a pneumonia that your body can not defend against. Technically you should be asking about HIV, not the "AIDS" virus. |
