Can AIDS virus survive in a Bull's body ? If yes, can AIDS be transmitted through beef ? There is no scientific evidence that the HIV virus is transmitted through beef, so don't scare yourself. So far no case has been registered where AIDS transmission is through beef. But prima facie there is no reason why AIDS virus should NOT survive in Bull's body. One thing is certain. If AIDS can be trabsmitted through beef or meat , then that will be quite a horrifying situation to be faced by mankind ! Even if HIV infected bulls, and even if it survived in the meat, cooking the beef adequately would kill the virus. Like all enveloped viruses, HIV is sensitive to extreme environments, including excessive heat. HIV cannot be transmitted to humans via an animal. The "H" in HIV stands for Human. It's not possible.
