well im 14 and i am frightened of aids.this one day my friend found a thumb tack in my classroom holdind a piece of paper and he put it in his hands and gave me a pound (ghetto handshake). it bore me butdidn't go into my skin and there was no sign of blood on my hand nor the thumb tack.even so should i really be worried about this? No. You are NOT going to get HIV from a thumbtack. It was a crappy thing to do, but no worries. I would advise you to talk to your high school health teacher about ways you can get HIV. no, I'm pretty sure you have nothing to worry about. Even if you were kissing someone with aids you'd both have to have open mouth sores to contract it. It is blood or sexually transmitted. |
