Can mosguito's transfer the aids virus? |
Just curious on what everyone thought about mosguito's transfering the aids virus? even if scientist say they cant, how would you feel standing around a person with the aids virus and mosguito's were biting wildy? would you feel un-easy about that?? Let's suppose for one moment that the scientists are correct in their theory. On that note let's take a "stab" (no pun intended) in the dark and put ourselves side by side with an HIV infected person. Now let's add some mosquito's to this scenario. It doesn't take long for the mosquito's to begin to bite the HIV person, and soon are attracted to you. Would you really feel safe? Could you stand there with a 100% surety that you weren't going to contract the virus by this method? Imagine it was your daughter, son, mother, father, brother sister or loved one who was in possible danger. Yes. If they bite into someone with HIV. I never thought about that...pretty interesting. i tend to trust the scientists on this one . . . whatever the doctors say Well, I haven't been in the amazon too often and I've never known a person with aids, so no, I don't think I'm too uneasy about that. Theirs never been a documented case of this type of transmission I had not thought about it, here is a link to information on this. Only gay mosquitoes. no no u just answered ur Q. no i wont feel uneasy being near a person with aids with or without mosquitos. do ur homework and read about aids please. ill be more concerned of other diseases mosquitos pass on like malaria, dengue etc. The virus is very fragile and cannot survive outside of certain environments inclusing mosquito's body, for very long. This includes the proper amount of moisture and temperature. No what i was told on the HIV yearly update : no because mosquitos have a chemical in their so called saliva system will not carry the virus! This anwer came from someone in healthcare for a long time and she has a Masters degree You're right one would feel uneasy. But then these scientists are not fools. They've researched on HIV all their lives and if the mosquito is not a carrier of the disease, rest assured you wont get AIDS from a mosquito bite. |
