To his defense, Rev Wright served our country in the USMC and US Navy for a total of 6 yrs. Dick Cheney served 0 yrs, he deferred the draft 5 times to avoid serving America.
In our dark past, in Tuskegee ,Alabama , our beloved government deliberately infected several Americans who happen to be black with Syphilis and Gohnnorea (read about it) in order to conduct a real life scientific experiment to observe the effect those diseases would have on humans, all this sanctioned by the US Government, do you blame Black People for being skeptical?

Drug Use in the Black community you say? Well explain to me why a white well educated Wall street Stock Broker purchases 1 pound of pure cocaine, goes home with his other white friends snorts it , gets busted ,and sent for rehab by our courts? On the other hand, a Black youth in th Inner City, buys some crack cocaine-made from the same chemical composition as cocaine except that it is less potent than the pure stuff- The black youngster smokes the stuff, gets busted, and gets thrown in jail for 10yrs? why? Both are Americans.
Rev Wright has the right to live where ever he wants in America, he is American who served America.
