Help! AIDS question!?

I am dating an Asian girl and my grandpa found out. He told me that if we kissed I would get AIDS. He says this because he has the AIDS virus and that he got it in the Vietnam war. He said he kissed her on the lips (EW!) and then he went to the doctor because his lips got a lot of bumps and the doctor said it was the beginning of the AIDS virus.

I am really scared because this girl wants to kiss me on the lips too but I don't want to get AIDS virus! She said I wouldn't but I think she is lying because she blinked twice when she said it.

Please help!!!! I am scared and don't want to get sick!

whatre u in fourth grade? no she has to have the AIDS virus and u can only get it by sex or sharing intravenous needles if she has the virus. if ur being serious in asking this question u need to sit down with ur parents and have the facts of life discussion. ur grandpa either doesnt want u dating an asian or doesnt want u dating period. and plus u can only tell if someone has AIDS through a blood test since it has no symptoms but rather makes a lot of other infections happen very easily

AIDS does not discriminate. It doesn't matter what cultural background you are, it doesn't mean you have AIDS. Any person can get AIDS from another person who has the virus.

AIDS is transmitted through bodily fluids like blood and semen. Do some research on the web about HIV and AIDS. Get informed about transmission. Go with the girl and both get tested for AIDS.

I find it extremely surprising that your grandpa got AIDS from a female during the war.
