Why is the human race plagued with presently incurable viruses and diseases, such as AIDS?

From a Christian or Muslim perspective...

Christians say it is due to a fallen world that we live in, a world of sin.

In reality these things happen because they just do. Bad things happen to good people at the same statistical rate as anyone else. The human race is plagued with as many viruses and diseases as animals are, that's the way it has been since life formed.

Well, in the case of AIDS, it's as simple as the breakdown of sexual inhibitions. Before all th libs jump all over me, hear me out. This is just common sense. If couples waited until marriage (as the bible instructs us to do) and do not have several sexual partners then AIDS would have never spread like it has.

Because we are living in the last days


Matthew 24:3-14
While he was sitting upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately, saying: 鈥淭ell us, When will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?鈥? And many false prophets will arise and mislead many; and because of the increasing of lawlessness the love of the greater number will cool off. But he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved. And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.

3 Million die from drought, starvation and the diseases that causes. Another 200,000 die from natural disasters each year. God is finding ever more inventive ways to wipe out humankind!!!

He kills more people every second than all the miracles ever claimed for him!!

Fear not, for disease knows no bounds or religion, race, or sex. You may rest tonight knowing that whatever affliction you endure has nothing to do with any God, perceived or othewise.

People are still questioning where AIDS came from? You must have not been alive in the 1970's.....


People having unprotected sex with other people who have been having unprotected sex with who knows who or what.... And not have any biological consequence? Not a chance..

Apparently God created lots of lethal viruses and bacteria so he could punish large groups of sinful people, like children in sub-Saharan Africa.

because god loves the little viruses too, and wants them to be fruitful and multiply. =D

Microorganisms evolve quickly. They have many generations in a very short time.

Sin , sin always brings disease and destruction...

When sin entered the world, so did sickness and disease.

Government need to force people to study science, medicine & engineering. If they don't comply, put them in jail unless they are handicap either physically or mentally & abolish all business profits & real estate profits so that there's no incentive to concentrate on those areas.

God has to thin out the herd and also punish sinners.
