If somebody has protected sex with someone who had AIDS will they get the virus?

i'm just curious....i'm not messing with anyone that has aids or anything i jus wanted to kno...i kno i might sound stupid i took sex Ed so i should kno this but i just wanted to kno is it possible to catch the virus if u have protected sex with someone who has aids

Yes, even if used correctly b/c the AIDS virus is so microscopically small it can fit through the condom.

I learned this 100% from a class i took in Nursing School.

Make sure the condom is not punctured.
Condoms do expire so always buy new.
Be careful and get check-ups when you begin sexual intercourse 2 times a year.

Condoms are not 100 percent reliable and condom users do not always use condoms correctly, so yes, it is possible.
