During shaving, the machine may cut pimples it encounters on your skin. Can this spread Aids?

Bering in mind that there are no stoppages between one person to the other. Can the virus be transmitted?

if you are all sharing the same razor and not cleaning it YES... but why would you do that

If there's contaminated blood on the razor it can, otherwise no.

In theory, yes it can. However the statistics that it would happen are not so good.

Why are you sharing your razor with another person? Gross!

If you use that shaver maybe yesh. But i heard that the aides virus can't live long when expose to air. Die in 4 secs.

the HIV virus does not live outside the body. but why take a chance. scientists have been wrong before.

Most likely, yes. There's no tell what could be inside the fluid... even when there's no blood on it, because all viruses lives in bodily fluids, not just blood. why did u ask, u have aids? or do u share razors with someone with aids?

only if someone else uses the same razor and they have HIV and vice versa

It is possible.

Don't share razor blades or toothbrushes. These items may carry traces of HIV-infected blood.

Do share a shaving machine ever! The answer is yes, even if it is a small chance.

once it touches air the virus dies, so it would be virtually impossible. I wouldn't want to chance it, however.

you're a gonner

The HIV virus is transmitted through body fluids and blood is a body fluid, so Yes to your question.

you sholud never share razor, or shaving machines...
thats a no no
about aids, if blood with blood encounter probably yes, but the virus doesnt survive much in the air,

I have heard of one instance where that happened to two brothers who used the same razor one right after the other. But I am not sure if the first brother cut himself deeply or if he cut a pimple. But the chances are very low as the blood would be very little. A person would have to use the razor immediately following.

What machine? I am assuming you mean at home? And if so,then don't let anyone else use your shaver,if you are HIV positive. Not sure pimples count as spreading the virus....although they would be bodily fluids,I would think it was rare. I've taken tons of AIDS classes, and they didn't ONCE mention pimple transmission as a source to spread the virus.

Yeah, if you use a razor from a public toilet which is very unlikely to happen at all. Those are personal belongings and so far all guys I know have their own personal razors or shave and they never share it with other people for hygienic purposes.

Personally I believe the anwer is yes! Because any time there is blood to blood contact you are leaving yourself open to the virus. So if while shaving you happen to cut a pimple that leaves blood on the shaver the next person who uses it can be infected... My opinion is never to share personal items with anyone!
