HIV AIDS help me?

iif you have unprotected sex with someone who was infected one month or two months ago what are the chances of you getting infected?
and the three months incubation thing for the HIV virus?

There is always a possibility that you could have been infected. These days they have quick tests available that you can take a week after having unprotected sex but those results aren't conclusive. And yes, they like you to wait and be tested after a three month period because then the antibodies are more easily found.
If you do a google search, there are plenty of informative sites on HIV/AIDS
I wish you luck.

Why didn't you use a condom? Because I KNOW you USUALLY use condoms with everyone that you sleep with, right? If you had used a condom, the chances would be slim, but you should get tested immediately now and then 6 months from now if it comes back negative. Because you didn't use a condom, you are just on here wasting time. You know you need to get tested and if it comes back negative both now and in 6 months, learn your lesson and ALWAYS wear condoms.

if you are worried at all that your sexual partner has given you HIV or AIDS then you should see a doctor immediately, just to be safe. if you were using a condom then the chances aren't as big. but remember that the pill does NOT protect from sexually transmitted diseases and to always get tested for STDs when you're sexually active anyways.

The statistical chances are quite low.

For one instance of vaginal intercourse with someone who is infected, the statistical chances of transmission are about 1/2000 for the male and 1/1000 for the female.

That's for one act of intercourse. More and you do the math.

But I'd be willing to guess you can figure out what the course of action would be to figure things out? You aren't going to get you blood analyzed by Y Answers replies.

The chances are the same if the person was infected a week ago or a year ago. The three months is not incubation, is a period in which somebody infected can test negative, because the test is searching antibodies for HIV and the organism needs some time to make the antibodies.
So, you need to be tested now, and at least after 6 months ( a test after 3 months, 6 months and after a year would be nice). And, although I believe you already know that: in these 6 months you should tell your doctors, dentist, manicure-lady and all your sex partners you might be HIV+.
