Why is scientific observation thru large telescopes more accurate than powerful microscopes?

Big bangers meet and agree,"It's really very simple, compression to singularity=boom=soup=life and then naturally occuring evoloution. Above 200 medical scientist from around the world after much peering thru their powerful microscopes at the aids virus agree it's so complex we just don't know.......

You have been misled, and your question reflects much confusion and many misconceptions. Ask your teacher to help you find some accurate and useful information about astronomy and about microbiology.

Good luck.

i honestly don't think that it is more accurate. i think that it just depends on the person and the equipment they are using.

My goodness, I really don't know where you're getting your news from, if you think that "Big Bangers" propose so simplistic a recipe for life.

It almost sounds as if you have learned your physics and biology from some one-sided website, or emails, or chatting with friends, rather than reading scientific journals or getting a science degree in college. Could that possibly be the case??

A few corrections:

* The Big Bang theory is by no means considered "simple." However, there is some pretty convincing evidence that the Big Bang happened. This is not really disputed, even by people with powerful microscopes!

* The Big Bang theory does not, itself, explain why or how the universe began, nor what happened before, nor whether there was such a thing as "before." The answers to those questions are a matter of very active research in physics right now.

* The Big Bang theory has basically nothing to do with the evolution of life. In my experience, the only people who have tried to lump the two together, as though they represented some kind of unified "belief system," have been religious fundamentalists. I suppose this is because both the BB theory and evolution have in common the notion that, "it may be possible to describe some interesting, complex phenomena in terms that do not necessarily invoke higher intelligence as a cause." This very notion seems to irk some people, for reasons that baffle me.
