I think that's an excellent question. When the story first broke that's what my wife and I kept asking each other: How could you expose your children to this kind of thing unless you believed it? There's no credible excuse. Either you were behind what the pastor was saying or you would've found a new church.

And apparently you don't go to church, or you would know that the children are not in the adult services. They are either in Sunday school or children's church.

I took my two daughters to Trinity United Church of Christ, both are college graduates, sang in the youth choir, worked in the college placement office and a host of other things over the years!!! I'm sorry what was your question again?

My husband and I got up in the middle of services on Sunday and took our young daughters right out of church because of what was being said. We never went back to that church.

In lots of religions, children go with the adults to services. Older children and teenagers certainly do. They are especially impressionable and should never hear something like what Wright said, because they have no context.
Children don't hate naturally. They are taught to hate.

No I would not send my kids to McCain's church, as he has proven himself to have ZERO morals. Hill has no church, so oh well. I think Money is their god. Now Obama's church, that runs homeless shelters, senior care, food banks, AODA, cancer groups, scholarships.... etc. Gives an enormous amount back to its community, sure. Gladly I would send my kids.
