if he is infected with HIV. how many years ? median time HIV take in progression of AIDS is 8-10 years. years first of all i didnt understand what u meant by 'ordinary man', but let me tell u,it all depends on the persons immune system. the anti retro viral drugs act by inhibiting the synthesis of prot required by the virus.hence if his immune is quite strong,he will live for years, also now in India TB with HIV is very common because, wit HIV immune is reduced, and so he is susceptible to TB, which will further lower the immune.so a person with HIV must be careful and prevent any infection of any sort. |
