What is the United States doing to help the Dominion Republic of the Congo' HIV and AIDS Population?

The Congo is an African City. A volatile desperate part of the country scarred by years of ethnic strife and civil war.

Heath care is delivered by a single, small Rural Clinic financed by the French doctors group, Medicins du Monde.

Not only aids meds is the problem-they also need meds for Malaria and Cholera and FOOD for malnutrition.

Of DRC's 60 milliom people, some 2.6
million are infected w/Aids or roughly
4.3 percent of the population-according to officeal figures. But only
5000 people have access to anti-retroviral drugs. .

The UN program on HIV/AIDS was suppose to furnish the drugs last year in July, but it took til March of this year for the small amount of shipments to arrive. Why can't theUS send doctors to help the French doctors? Just exactly what is the US doing? They help everyone else?

I would hate to meet my maker with this kind of thing on my conscience!!!

There are several American initiatives both private and public for HIV in Africa and around the world.
Check the State Department website or talk to your Congressman.

Why should the United States have to be doing anything? Why aren't you asking what Europe is doing to help the Dominican Republic?

Since when did the Dominion Republic or Congo become the responsibility of the United States?
Why is every World problem our responsibility?
