No; you need to exchange blood. Saliva or tears won't do it either.

Even if the HIV-positive person had a cut and bled on the clothes, being airborne would kill the cells in the blood (unless you put them on right after they took it off).

No. But if the person has AIDS and not only HIV, (they are feeling very sick) you should not use their clothes to protect them from picking something up from you.

No, HIV/AIDS can only spread if you have contact with these particular bodily fluids:
- blood (before it hits oxygen)
- semen
- vaginal secretion
- breast milk

That is about it. You would most likely get HIV/AIDS if you had sexual intercourse with the person. You can't get HIV/AIDS from hugging someone or kissing them (unless they have a cut in their mouth). You won't even get it if you hang out with that person. Infact, if the person has HIV/AIDS, you should spend time with them and stick with them simply because it is a tough period and many people end up losing their friends and family because of fear. It is pretty sad, and if you could be a help to them, it would be a great thing!
