No you cant sue anybody for having contracted hiv from them, as for the laws you speak of, I wasnt aware there were laws in place for HIV, other than for privacy issues. It is not a crime to have HIV, therefore any laws concerning HIV would only be to protect ones privacy, and not to discriminate against them in any way. Can you be more specific as to what laws are on your mind.
