Do all people who have HIV get AIDS? |
Is it possible to have HIV and never develop AIDS ? What are the chances? Yes, after a certain time all people infected with HIV start to develop AIDS itself. However, the time between the infection and the onset of AIDS varies amoung individuals. Some live a long time with out getting any AIDS symptoms. no. they dont. i worked in a home of hiv people, and i took care of them and there is a chance that it can turn in aids, but just a chance the meds they r on is keeping that from happening. People who are infected with HIV have to take massive amounts of medications to increase or maintain the amount of white blood cells in their inmune system. I think if they stop taking the pills the chances of develop AIDS is much higher than taking the cocktels. It depends, some people don't develop AIDS for many years, but from my understanding, because the diseases affect the inmune system, they could die from a simple cold. Just like everything else, the answer depends on who and what you believe. |
