Why are gay people more likely to contract AIDS or HIV? |
They can be transmitted sexually, and both gay and straight people have sex, so why are gay people more likely to have AIDS/HIV? Actually this isn't true anymore. Lack of lube... Actually, women are more likely to contract HIV. I forget why, something about the vagina. to many partners maybe? I learned that this is a popular misconception about the gay community. Anyone who has unprotected sex is at a risk of developing HIV and/or AIDS, not just gay people. Also, the gay community has taken steps to promote safe sex and reduce the risk of HIV/AIDS. If you look at statistics, it is not the gay community with the highest rates of HIV/AIDS. Can lesbian women still get sexually transmitted deseases. Because a penis is not supposed to go inside an anus. When it does it very regularly makes the anus bleed and blood carries hiv and mixed with a penis that doesn't have a rain coat on equals good chance of contracting the disease The soviet government created the virus as a chemical weapon of mass distruction and implanted in gay KGB spies who came to the US and spread it among the gay community in the early 1980s. There are a few different reasons. actually, they used to be be cause many of them had many partners. but the facts have now changed. Heterosexual females are now the most like to contract the virus, and this is becuase they get it from their cheating partners. There are more women in the world with AIDS than all str8/gay/bi people put together. Scary huh. Vaginas absorb the virus very fast! "Despite the fact that homosexual men make up only 1 to 2 percent of the population, they nonetheless made up more than 40 percent of the new cases, the data showed." The Hiv virus is spread thru bodily fluids. That said, when a man has sexual intercourse with another man unprotected, this puts them both at a huge risk for contracting the virus. The reason being is the anus is not made for this lil adventure ( my effort at humor) Therefore the anus rips very easily. This ripping exposes the inside of the body and at that moment if there is semen in the anus and it has any rips, the semen can and will get thru. Because of your bi-sexual individuals. They are sleeping with both men and women unprotected. And come back and sleep with their mates unprotected. So it's just a big cycle. You have to be careful when you are strait. You never know when someone is on the down low. You can't look at them and tell. AIDS/HIV is a blood-born pathogen and also through certain "bodily fluids". The reason that AIDS/HIV is associated with homosexuals is because of the pervasive trend in homosexual males, not lesbians. This is due to the fact that anal sex can tear the surrounding area of your anus, leading to a degree of bleeding that you do not get from intercourse vaginally. This is a myth, but one based on the mechanisms of sexual transmission. This is for adults ears, preferably: anal intercourse often causes damage to the rectum, to the point of tearing of the tissue causing micro- or macroscopic bleeding. If the path to infection is as effecient as bodily fluid (semen) to bodily fluid (blood) transmission, the result is the AIDS epidemic in the homosexual male community that practice anal intercourse. It can also be spread through oral intercourse if the "receiver" has an open sore in his mouth or throat, although this is less likely. In Africa, however, there is a greater transmission of the virus from men TO the WOMEN, also due to the mechanism of transmission. The same thing is also happening in the black community in America, unfortunately. The only reason that you think that gay men are more likely to have HIV/AIDS is that there are more cases of it in gay men, or there used to be in the USA. The gay community, to its great credit, has fought back with a vengeance and is now the LEADER in the fight against the spread of HIV/AIDS in the United States. Because liberals hate gays and want them to die. Because the anus has soft celled tissue that is ruptured during intercourse and the un-natural relationship between the two. Gay men are more likely to have multiple sex partners and are open about their activities. The fluids of penis to anus is disgusting anyway. |
