I acciedntly swallowed someone else's blood. could i get aids/hiv!???

well, i want to try and keep this clean, but the other day i was giving my boyfriend oral sex. i have braces and he said that i accidenlty and painlessly cut him and he saw a tiny bit of blood, which i never saw,but um, yeah i kept going.so if ive swallowed his blood, could i get hiv or aids? hes a pretty clean person. but im actually quite scared now.

If you're giving head without a condom - you should go to the health department & get tested together.
That way you'll know if he has AIDS & you can stop worrying about THAT..
But I do suggest a FULL STD check together so you can rule out everything else as well

**and I agree as well, you're not an idiot!**

does HE have hiv or aids???

you can only get hiv or aids if he has it

you have to find out if he has HIV/AIDS, it really depends on it - if your still not sure, go to your doctor and have a blood test.

no unless you were bleeding from the mouth

You probably can if he has it. Hiv lives in the blood for twelve hours once its out of the body. The only way for sure is to get tested.

No, because stomach acid will kill the virus, unless it enters your bloodstream through a sore or cut in the mouth. Read more at the link below.

I'm no expert, but I'd say you could...especially if you have any sores, scratches, etc in your mouth. Might want to have yourself and him checked out to be on the safe side.
Good luck! Hope you both turn out clean!

First of all does your boyfriend have HIV/AIDs? The only way you can get HIV/AIDs is through a cut in your mouth. So if he was bleeding and you have or had a cut some where in your mouth. I would go get tested if I was you. Other than that I would still get tested just to make sure.

No unless you have a cut somewhere in your mouth or esophagus. Of course, if he doesn't have HIV/AIDS in the first place, then you have nothing to worry about.

I really doubt it because the only way u can get HIV/AIDS with blood is if his blood comes in contact with yours!!

I know it's easier said than done, but try not to worry about it. The chances are extremely slim for you to get HIV through that form of contact and that's only if he has it! I really doubt he does. If you are worried, ask him to get tested, or get tested yourself. I would be willing to bet my life on it that you are fine if that makes you feel any better.

If you dont get it from the blood you can always get it from the spooge.

next time use a condom and get tested, but i think you are fine.
