What college has the highest rate of aids/hiv?

In North Carolina what colleges has the highest rate of AIDS/HIV?

There would be no real way to know about such a thing because there's not a question on college applications that asks "do you have AIDS?" and nobody comes around to check you out while you're in college.

You will hear all sorts of urban legends about STDs etc. at certain colleges but reality is that such data is rarely collected at a per-school level unless there is an identified problem there.

The county public health departments do keep track of those statistics in their county though but they wouldn't know if you were a college student or not.

It would appear that there are more cases in the larger counties than in the smaller - just as one might expect - and that colleges tend to be in the larger counties.

That is a strange question...I don't think that the Health sevices of those schools release that information.

Are you worried about getting it? I assure you that you cannot get it from holding hands, drinking from their cup, or being in their presence. They are normal like everybody else.

I suppose you could call the school's health services, but I doubt you'll get an answer.


CoachT- Actually, they do ask if you have AIDS/HIV. The health services requires all accepted student to complete a physical. It would be VERY unethical if the Dr. signed the sheet without completing all the questions, and in this day in age, that question does come up on a physical from the health services.
