Why Are African Americans Affected By AIDS/HIV So Much? |
One Of My Friends Is African American. His Son Just Got AIDS/HIV. Why Does This Happen To African Americans? Please No Rasicts! My Friend's son has gotten HIV/AIDS... I wanted to know why to help him please answer with no rasicsm... Lack of education about unprotected sex. lack of HIV/AIDS education.they do not know the dangers of promiscuous unprotected sex. A report I read in my local newspaper claims that many more African American males are bisexual and that's why both their sex's(male and female) have higher incidence rates. Hispanics were 2nd with Caucasians being last. ;-)= Search the Web: Because they engage in more high-risk behaviors: It could be from lack of education, but then again, there are plenty of white folks that are uneducated. Most of the African-Americans that are infected with HIV are in Africa, but over here the numbers are high as well. I guess because they don't use protection while having sex. They are just the statistics. There is no one reason. Because it just is. There is no stereotype that makes them more prone. Maybe there are just as many white people that are infected as there are African-American, the white people just don't know it. If they did, then the numbers would be equal.
