Aids/HIV question?

If you touch ANYONES urine, can you immediately catch Aids or HIV or does it have to be infected first?

The same question goes for sex.

I'm a cleaner and I'm asking this question because in my first cleaning job, I was naturally inexperienced and to begin with, did not understand the importance of wearing gloves. So, I sometimes accidentally touched someones urine. Am I correct in thinking the good news is whether the urine was infected or not, it could not hurt me?

2.breast milk
3.sexual fluids
4.mucosal fluid (fluid found in the knees)
NOT FOUND IN THE FOLLOWING:
1.sweat
2.tears
3.urine
4.fecal matter (unless blood is present)
5.saliva

Here is a list of ways it can be transfered:
1. blood to blood contact
2.breast feeding
3.sexual intercourse
4.sharing contaminated needles during drug use
NOT TRANSFERED THROUGH THE FOLLOWING:
1.hugging
2.kissing
3.touching
4.sharing a cup or eating utencils
5.a toliet seat
6.a mosquito bite

Urine is sterile. And once the virus hits the air it dies. Unprotected sex - yes.

I don't think you can get Aids/HIV from someone urine, unless you have a cut and the urine get into the cut I really don't know how true it is but i don't think you can get it from that, I thought it was through not have safe sex or a open cut. I know you can get it if you don't have safe sex.

HIV/AIDS is a very fragile disease once out of the body.

...hmmm maybe they could come up with a cure that exposes all of poz ppl's blood to the air.....O.K? that may sound dumb, but at least im trying...Got a better ideas?
