If a male performs anal sex on a female partner can they get HIV/AIDS?

My health teacher told this to our class is this true if a man shoves his penis up a girls *** he can get HIV/AIDS and also the girl?

It will all depend on if either one has the virus already. If the answer is yes and the anal is done w/o a condom then there is a very good chance the other partner will become infected.

The virus is spread by bodily fluids (semen, blood) so even if neither partner has the virus to begin with it is a good idea to use a condom anyway.
