I have this project on Health Class on Hiv/Aids on Africa. There is a question there that asks:? |
What is important for teenagers to know about HIV/AIDS in Africa? What is important to know is that HIV/AIDS is not isolated to Africa and is very much a part of our society as well. If we are not careful we too could reach epidemic proportions just as Africa is. A teenager should know that practising no sex is the only fool-proof method for not acquiring the disease, that condoms and limiting the number of partners are essential for reducing their risk, and that HIV/AIDS is not a disease limited to the homosexual community. Most current transmissions are hetereosexual. |
