Can you get HIV-AIDS from mosquito bites? |
If the answer is no, why not? It's like having a blood transfusion right? And it's common knowledge that one of the ways for one to get HIV-AIDS is through blood transfusion. The virus can not live in the mosquito's body. If that were true there would be alot more HIV cases world wide as far as my mind is concern i dont think so, maybe not... yes..... No, ofcourse not!!! One of the most prevalent myths about HIV transmission is that mosquitoes or other bloodsucking insects can infect you. There is no scientific evidence to support this claim. To see why mosquitos don't aid in the transmission of HIV, we can look at the insect's biting behavior. I think it's possible. because the HIV virus is delicate and doesnt survive the trip through the mosquitos gut. the virus cannot survive in mosquito. Anything is possible, but for some reasson I remember reading something about this and it was stated that the virus dies when outside the bloodstream. The answer is NO because if a mosquito bites a person with HIV-AIDS, that's gonna be its last bite, I THINK! :) Thats a total myth. maybe. |
