What are the vectors in hiv/aids?

is hiv/aids fatal disease or not?
anything will help
thx

HIV is not as fatal as it use to be. With the development of the cocktail (and combination of HIV medications) So people are living a lot longer. BUT people who are infected with the virus become immune to the medications over time and long term survivors are now having side effect of the medication that are causing death. Kidney failure, Liver failure, heath attacks and respiratory failure are now the new causes for death. People are having these side effects and their T Cell count doesn't drop so they never develop AIDS.
