HIV/AIDS from a bloody lip? |
My ex-boyfriend got in a fight where he had a cut on his lip, or inside his mouth. I know it's gross, but we kissed, you know, tongue and all. But only for a few seconds or so. I could taste a bit of the blood too. If he is positive, maybe. If his viral load is high, you would be at greater risk. The risk is low, but still possible. yeah it is possible, both of you should go get tested pronto! Only if you had an open wound were his blood could enter ur blood stream. maybe......it doesnt matter how much blood you get or where it comes from. it just maters that you got blood from him. it really isnt that common that you get aids as you think but just remeber it is possible. this is your boyfriend, and you don't know if he has aids or not? girl you better find out. NO! just because you lick his lip, doesn't mean u will get HIV/AIDS Only if he's infected with the virus and if you had an open cut inside the mouth or on the lip! i'm sure your fine though probably just being a little paranoid, you should trust your boyfriend if you thought he was skanky you wouldn't be with him would you and if he had aids don't you think he would have told you. do u even no if he has aids or hiv no you cant. Its only possible if you had a cut in your mouth as well and his blood got into it somehow. Aids can not be absorbed into your bloodstream, and your stomach acids will kill the virus if it is even there. You dont have anything to worry about It won't be very easy. It wasn't a lot of blood so I would not worry about it. He may not even have HIV or AIDS. I know someone personally who has HIV and is married. Even though I do not recommend this, she and her husband have had unprotected ORAL sex for years and he does not have it and gets tested regularly. Get an HIV test just for the hell of it anyway tho, just cuz u should. DOubtful you could get it that way. I certainly hope you are not having sex with him if you are not sure he HIV+ or not.
