HIV/AIDS in India. Insult of education and profession.....?

In National AIDS Control Programme of India, psychologists and social work graduates and post graduates are drawing remmuneration less than what sweeper who mop floor or peon who serve water draws in same department.

if employees of govt is insecure, unsatisfied, what govt expects service from them.

situation of job scene of humanities, mental health professionals, counsellors, psychologists, social workers is extremely painful.

i think there is no future for students who persue such humanities courses.

the salary is less than what the lowest employee of the organisation get.

And this is never the less national level programme reality in a country where HIV/AIDS is spreading at alarming pace.

keep protesting, this year when UNAIDS latest figures come out India ll have more than 6 million infected people, all those who are tested HIV positive will start falling ill at that time they will realize not providing drugs to needy, keep there health professionals like counsellors under paid, unsatisfied is a major blunder.

i do remember a HIV positive patient suffering from Aidophobia even burn the counsellor alive.

what govt is doing for its own staff, nothing.

Hospital don"t consider them as there own staff, not even provide basic stationary.Administration ask them to do any work they want.

There remuneration is less than what sweeper or peon in same department draws.

These guys have invested there peak years of age in hope of securing permanent job.

But there present is like
"dhobi ka kutta, na ghar kaa naa ghaat kaa"
