This is a reality. Today there are more cases of HIV reported per month than cases of tuberculosis.
we must also acknowledge people who get infected with tuberculosis get detected early and easily.
where as HIV/AIDS is a silent killer.
millions of indians are infected with HIV in diffrent region of the country, nobody can estimate the true figure.

Sorry to say this but HIV/AIDS in Indian is long past being a Public Health Crisis. It is now a Public Health Catastrophe.

Both tuberculosis and HIV are significant public health problems in India, as well as many other places. They are not separate problems, either, as widespread HIV disease will worsen the spread of TB, and widespread TB will worsen morbidity and mortality in people with HIV disease. Public health policy will fail if it doesn't address both problems simultaneously.
