Fighting HIV/AIDS by ridding ourselves of sexual promiscuity...?

I like everyone else would like to see HIV/AIDS eradicated. However, between the medias exploitation of sex, internet porn, porn magazines and T.V shows that promote and encourage sexual promiscuity, we will never get rid of this disease.

I know that many that have HIV did not contact it by being sexual active, however the majority has and it is because of the aforementioned outlets. It's similar to having bad associates or peers, if you hang around them long enough, you too will mimic their behavior. The more we flood our mind with pornographic images, the more the human mind wants to act out those feelings.
Some experts have said that porn is good for relationships, as it can add spice, but if that were the case, then why do we see marriages fall apart when a spouse becomes addicted to porn?

What do you think is the root of HIV/AIDS? Do you think if people were to stay away from sexual content, then the cases of HIV patients would dwindle?

Im sorry but i believe that is just an excuse, some people in africa dont have televisions and they are still doing it. You cannot stop somebody from doing so the best way is protection and knowledge!!!!!!

A reduction in the amount of porn might have some effect - but folks could be pretty promiscuous long before the days of modern media. Promiscuity is a part of the human condition, and there is no way it can be eradicated in a society that is fit to live in.

Lol--------are you nuts-----i thinks they should globalise the free distribution of condoms and reward people who use the most-----they should make it a nobel prize and issue doctorates for intensive knowledge in use of contraceptives.

lol...your very naive...looking at porn doesn't make you go out and have sex without protection....Someone who doesn't have the right information regarding the disease or someone who knows but chooses not to protect themselves does!! It is your own personal choice to listen and learn about it and to make the right choice.

This is like saying watching the news makes you go out and kill people because that's all you see....
