Revolution in order?

I've just been writing a June 16 script that I hope you'll be hearing pretty soon on your radios. I envisioned the youth of today actually getting up and revolting against government and all these crisis engulfing our nation from HIV/Aids, Global warming, crime and xenophobic attacks. Obviously client will want to edit stuff if they dont bomb the entire script. The thing is though, what will our youth be remembered for? A day is set aside to remember those young 'uns who died for what they believed in, doesnt that motivate our young to actually go out there and do something about whats going on now... in year 3000 do they want to be remembered for dying of AIDS, raping, killing and the rest of the mess we're under? I envisioned a massive national revolt from the youth (all races) that actually decreased the negatives and increased positivities in sectors such as the arts, science etc.
Am I just building castles in the air or is this possible? Dont we need another June 16, minus death?

You go girl, sounds good.
If you can add some sentiments about respect for your fellow man, making leaders accountable for their actions etc.
Hit them where it hurts and let them know that young people aren't stupid and can see what they are doing.

However, the tricky part is to disassociate the feelings of violence and destruction that usually go hand in hand with words like 'revolt' and 'crisis' in South Africa and somehow replace that with a display of tolerance and good vibes - then I believe you have a winner!

The greatest weapon of the youth is knowledge, knowledge of the goings ons in politics, their access to it, the freedom and readiness with which they can share it.
The greatest threat to any "false" government is.....knowledge, the freedom of it, the access to it and the readiness with which it can be shared!
