Cold Sores = Aids?!?!?

i had cold sores before, like alot of blisters at once. i am still a virgin. Does that means i am HIV postitive?!?!?! and i read some articles about AIDS, i'm scared that i will get aids!! by the way, i dont have health insurance, nor physician. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NOOOOO don't worry about that at all!!!!! it doesn't have anything to do with AIDS cold sores are just a normal thing that many many many people get just like a cold or something!
people associate it with aids and std's and stuff because you can give someone cold sores through sexual contact. You can also get them randomly without doing anything sexual at all. it's just a regular virus I get them all the time and I'm still a virgin and I've never even done ANYTHING with anyone. So you don't have aids don't worry :)

no it simply means that you have herpes simplex virus 1.....herpes simplex virus 2 is the STD....and sometimes herpes is a disease that comes as the effect of a low immune system that is part of AIDS...but you probably don't have AIDS....you just get cold sores because you have herpes simplex virus 1 like 90% of Americans!!!!
