If you have hiv could you ever get rid of it, or does it stay in your body for ever? till you die from aids.?

curious?confused?need some answers to this question I've an have been wondering about.

HIV is the virus that causes AIDS. Like the virus that causes Herpes there is no cure. Once the virus is in your body it is there for the remaining of your life. However there are medications that help suppress the growth of the virus so that your symptoms are diminished and in some case alleviated. The key to a long life that is relatively symptom free is compliance to your medical regime and trying to eliminate stress factors.

No cure yet for HIV or even a vaccine to prevent it. You have it until it converts to AIDs and then you die not from AIDs but from other infections. Your immune system is weakened by AIDs and you end up catching other infections like the flu, pneumonia, etc and you die from those infections because your body can't fight them off since it is already weakened by AIDs.
So dont have sex with someone you just met. Always use a condom everytime. And dont have sex with someone who seems to have flu like symptoms.
Always insist your sex partner get HIV/AIDs tested if they have had sex with other people before you.

you cant get rid of it it stays in your body for Every oh and you don't die from HIV/AIDS you die from other viruses because HIV/AIDS weakens your immune system so you get sick more and for longer and you gradually get weaker and weaker
