this is a complete rumor!! there is a group that is against her, and she remade a song that apparently was their theme song. and here's what they said to everyone:

You want to know how it all started? Well, Ashley remade a song claimed by Anonymous - Rick Astley鈥檚 鈥淣ever Gonna Give You Up鈥?and decided to strike back. Part of this was the spreading of the rumor that Ashley is HIV positive. The next rumor to be spread will be something along the lines of the fact that Disney is attempting to cover up the fact that she has a horrible drug habit and got it through there. You may also see some videos popping up on YouTube from people purporting to be HIV+ and stating that it is deplorable that Ashley is denying herself being HIV+, that it will scare off other teens from getting tested, etc.
Just a heads up for you all.

Ashley doesn't have HIV and as you read from the above, it's not the first rumor they're gonna start. they want Ashley to issue a public apology for remaking the song.
so don't believe any of the Ashley rumors you may hear in the next few weeks.

plus, her rep, scott appel, told people magazine that the rumor was "completely untrue"

It has been confirmed in many places now. There are a lot of misconceptions about the whole fiasco, though. First of all, she has HIV, not AIDS. Secondly, I don't know if I believe she contracted the virus from non-sterilized equipment. Don't get me wrong, it's possible, but doubtful.

It's also possible they're using the rhinoplasty story as a means of hiding the real way she got the virus in the first place. This makes sense considering the fact that Tisdale is a teen idol, starring in Disney flicks and such, and her people don't want her tarnishing her reputation.

Believe what you will, but it's been confirmed. It isn't surprising the whole thing has been so hush.

Los Angeles - American actress and singer Ashley Tisdale, known for her role as Sharpay Evans in the movie High School Musical, has been diagnosed with HIV at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA.

While details are still sketchy at this time, a spokesman for the hospital said, 鈥淎shley and her family are trying to come to terms with this horrible development. They only ask that you pray for Ashley鈥檚 health and to please respect their privacy as the family decides on the next course of action.鈥?br>
An inside source stated that Ashley may have contracted the virus last year when she underwent a rhinoplasty procedure on November 30, 2007. According to Tisdale, this was done for health-related reasons and not out of a belief in plastic surgery; her "septum was 80 percent deviated" and she had "two small fractures on [her] nose", and this was interfering with her breathing. She spoke to People magazine about the surgery, saying that it was important to her to be honest with her fans.

While the rhinoplasty procedure doesn鈥檛 involve a blood transfusion, the equipment used could have been contaminated. The source stated that Ashley had not been feeling well since last November, often complaining of headaches and a series of minor colds and bacterial infections. All of which she worked through until she was found passed out in her kitchen three days ago.

High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale's rep, Scott Appel, slammed online reports that she has been diagnosed as HIV positive. "The story is completely untrue," Appel tells Us.

Internet rumors swirled Thursday after a web site posted a false report that Tisdale had contracted the disease from her rhinoplasty procedure last year.

The fake report alleged that a spokesman for the hospital revealed in a statement, "'Ashley and her family are trying to come to terms with this horrible development. They only ask that you pray for Ashley鈥檚 health and to please respect their privacy as the family decides on the next course of action.'"

"We did not release any statement regarding Ashley Tisdale," Cedars-Sinai spokesperson Simi Singer tells Usmagazine.com.

Tisdale (who topped Us' Best Makeover List last year) plays spoiled rich girl Sharpay Evans in the hit Disney movie series High School Musical. She's currently in Salt Lake City, Utah filming HSM3.

It's not a TRAGEDY. It's unfortunate, but not a TRAGEDY. The Burmese Cyclone is a tragedy, singer getting HIV through a nose-job isn't a tragedy. It's an unfortunate, and mildly karma-esque occurence.

it is true. there is a question of how she got it, apparently it could be that she got it through her plastic surgery... but who knows.

she could have just had unprotected sex with someone who was HIV positive. either way, it's horrible.

There was an article on it recently as the practice is going for a settlement as they're a pretty big famous LA practice and are scared of bad publicity if it goes to court.

It had been rumoured a week or so ago. But just recently sources have confirmed she tested positive for HIV. it's suspected that it was contracted during the rhinoplasty she had last year

Obviously, they are trying to cover up the truth about Ashley, particularly Disney who invested a sizable amount of money on Ashley.
