Can you get AIDS or HIV if...?

you have a sore on your face or zit, and their saliva gets into that sore or zit? or if they both have zits that touch? i just think its really interesting if that could happen?

I think HIV is not infected through saliva but the chances are there because I have heard that it spreads through direct contact of body fluids.

i think the figure it something like a gallon of saliva is what you would need to infect a person.

hiv is transmitted sexually and through blood. if the person had a cut in their mouth and then that spit got in an open cut, then yes, its possible.

hiv is actually very hard to transmit compared to other diseases via even a needstick. i think the number is something like 0.3-0.45% chance of transmission. its not worth the risk, but its actually fairly low. it is much higher with sexual transmissions.

HIV is rarely spread through the saliva. it takes copious amounts to actually infect someone else
