not necessarily. it could be from your hand if you had one on your hand but you might be fine BUT it could very well be std/hiv-aids/spv...so you should go see your doctor and he or she can check it out. do not be shy it doesn't seem to be a huge deal but it could be so go to doctor and they can analyze it. and warts are NOT caused by an std i had a wart on my finger and the doctor said i needed to change my diet. but yours is on your manly part so go to doctor. =P

penile warts are "usually" caused by the HPV virus. A physician can test you.
