Do you know or have you met anyone with HIV/AIDS?

what was your reaction when you found out they had this disease?

yes i met a chick at a bar one night very attractive, she told me she had it but had the common courtesty unlike a lot of skanks to to inform me when we first started talking, so most people will tell you they have it, reactions a little taken back but then again hiv is just a chronic illness these days, boy i hate the day, they finally cure it and people will act like nothing every happen

I hv, lot of my "circle of friends" are HIV positive
i hv dating with one, hang out with many of them, share happiness and sorrow with them, work with them
so it's normal, what reaction do you expect.

Lots. I was shocked at first, then sad. Then mad. How stupid could you be to put yourself in a situation to contact HIV?And what if he gave it to me or something? I yelled at him. Then I realized I was being selfish.(the worst we ever did was share a drink) How could i think of how it would effect me, when my best friend could be dieing? he really needed a friend and I pulled myself back together and was tough for him.

it was in 1987, it was my uncle. He died shortly afterwards. When I first saw him I knew he was going to die.
