If you have unprotected sex with someone who is infected, you have a chance of contracting virus which turns into AIDS. Once you contract the HIV virus, you cannot ever get rid of it, and there is no cure.

No you can not be infected with HIV if your partner is negative. But unprotected sex with a person who is HIV+ could lead to a person becoming infected. There are many factors involved in if a person become infected. The best rule of thumb is ALWAYS use condom with your partner until you both test TOGETHER to be sure you are both free of STDs and HIV.
