Why is that we have cases of HIV/AIDS in USA and England? than as reported in African countries?

In the U.S., cases are said to be rising in teenagers having unprotected sex and minority women I think...IV drug use and multiple sex partners without protection is the main key to it...

There ARE a lot of cases in Africa also though...usually linked to the men traveling far for jobs, having sex with prostitutes and then going home to their wives and getting them pregnant. There is a big stigma to other people knowing that they are ill and they would try not to let anyone know.

Perhaps your talking about the number of 'reported' cases being higher in the States and England.

BUt Im afraid that dosn't sound quite right.

ITs epidemic, pandemic in Africa.
To the point that there is almost two classes of people, the withs and the withouts. Perhaps it is vastly under reported in Africa, Asia, because of the stigmatisation involved. And people who are very malnurished could well miss some of the early symptoms - flu like at about week 3.
