Do you think the Iphone 3G should be a product (RED)?

We all know that the Iphone is super popular since it came out. The Iphone 3G went international this time selling more than 1 million so far.
AIDS and HIV on the rise in Africa should apple make the Iphone 3G a product (RED)? It would really help and spread adwareness about AIDS and HIV around the world. It should be an opinion for buyers who wants to help.
Convince me if you don't think that Apple should do this.

Since most of you are negative people you should live in NORTH KOREA OR A F*CKING 3rd world country. Who cares it going to be popular or not as long as they have the opinion of buying a product (RED) iphone. We as American or people that don't live in a 3rd world country have this mind set of nothing bad could happen to us. Sorry to say something really bad is going to happen.
What goes around comes around. Someone might need help and you refuse to help them out. Later on you might need help and no one is going to help you. Think about it.

yehh it would help some many people in 3rd world countries that have to deal with this problem of aids and people the can afford to get an iphone might as well be donanting money at the same time. the the chick up above SO what if your parents already donate money. All the money that you spend on one phone could be used to save someones life! its all worth it
XD

(RED) is a waste of time, along with walks for cancer, donations for *anything*, and those awful magnetic ribbons people put on their car.

Want to do something worthwhile? Stop bugging Africa & let nature take its course.

Edit: If what goes around comes around - as I believe - then doesn't that mean that Africa is just getting what they deserve?

My guess is that they can do it but they probably feel it wont sell good maybe? It probably would...or maybe the people who started Product Red dont want to be smart alecs by making every single device available in red...as to seem desperate.

no.....i have an iPHone and my parents already donate to stuff like that because im only 15!!!

if someone wants to do that then they sould do it separetky because then you could donate more
