People with lower lip piercing help ? aspecially but can people without 1 help please ITS URGENT FOR 2MOZ

right im going to have my lip pierced tomorrow
i want bottom lip on the left hand side as close to my lip line kinda as possible not like a huge cap from my lip line to the piercing

one of my relatives have just got it done we were talking about it i was my lip pierced as close to my bottom lip as possible .. but supposly side labret or something goes lower than that but i want mine close as possible to my lip line or something that close anyway

and is a ring better than a bar for swelling ?
cause im one of these unlucky people whos piercings get infected probs my fault but anyway if it swells and gets infected ring would be better to keep clean and deal with ? and also wont get inbedded like a bar right ? and also how big is the space you get in bar size for swelling ?

and ALSO MAIN QUESTION
which people who dont have a lip piercing can help with is..

if you went to a piercing studio to get your lip pierced if you think oh god no way just imagen urself in my shoes at the time
and piercing person ( he is a man btw friends been there before) if he marked your lip piercing and showed you in the mirror and its not where u want it exactly would you feel like a twat saying you dont like it you want it close to the lip ?

cause i feel embarrest and feel like im being apain in the neck by saying if i might not like where it is put but i also want it too be wear i want which would be usefull for the piercing names .
and also what if i dont like it and he moves it and i dont like it again ? i feel horrible then =[
but if i dont get it where i want its all the money wasted and scar put there for life .
i may sound silly but i want peoples opinions it will make me feel more confident

ALSO - my mums taking me tomorrow as i am only 14 and yes i have rung up and they will pierce people my age with parental consent
i didnt really think about this untill my mum said.because i thought well many people go there too get piercings surly it must be sterile nd clean if not they wouldnt get it done and i also know people who have got piercings from there they havnt said anything bad about the place and also i dont THINK ive heard any bad comments of the place
but anyway mum said to me make sure you check see when he piercer takes the needle out of the packet to make sure its clean and sterile if not she said ask do you sterilise probly etc something like that she said i said no mum i dont wanna sound like a twat she said do you want hiv or aids which ever one she said now its playing on my mind a bit i feel nervous how do you know if a place is clean ?
or would you feel like an idiot asking ?
mum said shes gonna ask do you sterilise but then i feel embarrest lol
but i also wanna be safe and dont get know hiv or aids or whatever you know what i mean lol
and oh if you hate lip piercings or piercings-
dont say '' oh they look hidious and horrible'' im not asking for that if you cant answer my question dont answer it then go claim 2 points elsewhere please

thank you :)
x

The piercing shop should explain most of this to you as they talk you through it when you get there. i have snakebites (one on each side of the bottom lip) and getting it pierced with a studis actually better for healing/lessening swelling and such. However you can change to rings once it is healed. The bar wont get imbedded becasue they will pierce it with a bar that is slightly longer to accomodate swelling, which can be changed to a smaller one once swelling has gone down if you want to.

DONT WORRY ABOUT WHAT HE WILL THINK. that is his job and what he gets paid to do and wont mind you telling him if its in the wrong place. Just explain that you want it close to the lipline and see how he does. And they are used to the majority of people asking questions about whether the shop i sterile or not, people want to be reassured that theyre not having piercings done in a dodgy place :)
good luck

Sweetheart you should have checked all of these things out before now. Any professional piercer would have been happy to explain their procedures to you, to show you round the "studio" and to speak to other satisfied customers. Only an "idiot" doesn't ask Qs. Ring them up, explain your concerns, they are used to that kind of thing, if they get "arsey" then go elsewhere. The issues you have raised are important but more importantly you need to feel comfortable and sure about what you are having done. Hope this helps, good luck x.
