Aids Epidemic within black community in America?

70% percent of mixed race couples are black men with white women. Please explain to me why these white women are not getting HIV?

There is nothing about being white that will keep a person from getting HIV. White women are as likely as any other race of women. Your premise is false. There are more men with HIV but many white women also have HIV.

Not to pick on you but many YA members accept as fact whatever thought floats to the top of their head. You have an Internet connection which means that you also have a search engine. To run with the idea that white women are immune to HIV without checking it out shows way too much confidence in your assumptions.

Your correlation is off. Interracial couples are the minority, regardless of whether the majority of them are bm/wf relationships so suggesting the HIV stats among blacks has anything to do with the relatively few blacks in interracial relationships is kind of off.

But, in any event, we don't know necessarily the number of white women with HIV who are in interracial relationships because that specific study hasn't been done, I think.

This is one of the more unintelligent questions I have come across. What really makes a question unintelligent is when the person asking is genuinely trying to be intelligent.

AIDS has a lot more to do with lifestyle habits than pure race. I'm really not sure what data you are looking at. The only numbers you have provided are that "70% of mixed race couples are black men and white women." Do you mean mixed black/white race? Because there are a lot of Hispanics, Asians, and others who are also mixed race.

I honestly don't believe a lot of statistics because they are often skewed. I don't believe the statistics about the AIDS epidemic or the mixed race percentage.

Because the AIDS virus was only released in the Black communities and is only made by the government to effect Blacks. Is that you "Reverend" Wright?

Russia and many Asian countries including India have higher perccentages of people with AIDs than the U.S., so its not all black people

HIV/ AIDS is an epedemic that effects people from all races and sex. My brother is white and has HIV. White women do have HIV and this will continue to effect all races and sexes until there are more educated people out there. We have to educate ourselves and protect ourselves and stop this epedemic from killing off our family members and friends and unless we make this change it will only get worse and worse. please get educated and if you are spread the word.

EDIT>>> and please do some research if you are going to speak on the beginnings of HIV/AIDS and where and when and why it started. There is some question if HIV actually causes AIDS, that is what is in question to be a cover up and a conspiracy not if it was released into the black community. although everyone who has sex is at risk communities that have people who are less educated and less aware are more commonly effected by this...and that includes all races...

as far as white women not having AIDS maybe the white women aren't living in the ghettos and hoods- that the AIDS is most rampant- not to mention they might be with black men who are educated in college/grad schools, high paying jobs, celebrity athletes- a lot of black guys who are athletes go out with white girls- like tiger woods for instance-
i think also too a lot of black guys are down low guys- gay and having sex with a lot of AIDS and spreading it around- pretending to pass for straight to be accepted in society- check out the movie Cover- it explains the situation quite well-
i say not having sex before marriage helps- also not doing drugs or smoking helps- to not spread AIDS- but then married people get it too- its hard-
