When you have unprotected sex with a AIDS victim do you get aids or hiv?

Aabd's answer is not correct. IF you become infected, it will be with HIV. You always get that first. After the infection has been there for a while, then you will develop AIDS. There is a possibility that you won't develop either.

you could develope HIV (humoral immunity virus) and would test positive for it, HIV is in the blood and attaks a special kind of white blood cell however the body can still gegeraly cope with things. however after about 8 years the immune system can't cope anymore and the victim developes AIDS (accuired, immune, Deficency, syndrome) the immune system is very low and usualy within 2 years the victim has died due to cathcing another virus or infection, whihc is usualy influenza or TB.

well heres the ans did you know yhat a male with hiv pos can have a one in 200 chance of not spreading it to a female partner but why take the chance most commonly from intercourse it is spread from friction tears with in the vaginal walls im hiv pos for wow 20 yrs now my fiance is not positive we always have protected sex why risk the dangers also its now possible for a couple to have children and then be healthy and the mother not getting the infection through a process called spearmwashing p.s im not a victem but im hiv positive

You will start out with the HIV, then if you do not go to the doctor and get medications for the virus, you will almost certainly escalate into AIDS. Why take a chance, use Condoms, and use them correctly.

AIDS is due to HIV virus. So having sex with AIDS victim will give you HIV (if it is unprotected).

You would get HIV, but that could later turn into AIDS. Then again, I'm not a doctor, so...
