Catholics:Do you deny that the discouraging of contraceptiion promotes STDS?

I've noticed the catholic church is strongly against contraception. But do you not admit that wether ou like it or not peoplpe will have sex before marriage so discouraging contraception(condoms) would only help spread STDS and only kill and hurt more people? How is that Godly? Why do some cahtolic organizations discourage contraception in Africa? Do you agree that doing that promots the spread of HIV/AIDS and that puts more men,women and children at risk?

Misconception alert: The distrust of condoms in Africa has very little to do with the Catholic Church. African Catholics are in the minority.

People do not use condoms because being seen buying a condom= you are very immoral.

The Bible does not mention contraception.

The ultimate resolution to the problem of STDs would be and should be abstinence. The problem with this is that not everyone understands the concept of abstinence, which is basically another word for self-control. If we cannot learn to govern our bodies, how can we expect to successfully control any other areas in our lives. Don't get me wrong. I am not denying the fact that at times it seems humanly impossible, given the media's misuse of power and influence. However, abstinence is a practice that is all too often overlooked and ignored (feared).

In response to your additional question: It is God's will. "Thou shalt not commit adultery" is one of His Ten Commandments. If we would all educate ourselves on the importance of saving sex for marriage, the world would be a better place. God Bless you.

The church only states the obvious in this regard. STD's are total non-issue when people do what God says.

We cannot and will not deny proclaiming the most effective, most natural, and most simple cure just because big condom manufacturers, big abortion service corporations, big pornography publishing companies, and big drug manufacturers lobby and advertise that you should participate in their slut sub-culture and keep buying their products and services.

They propagandize against the truth because it's free and it destroys the market for their goods and services.

They cannot serve God and money without loving one and hating the other. Which do they love?

If one did away with self indulgence, there would not be all these diseases
