A question bout sex...HIV, AIDS, etc?

Now, I know about STDs and stuff just unclear of how EXACTLY they are transmitted if the couple is gay

If a dude does it with another dude...is the sperm the only way the STD is transmitted??? Is that why they use condoms?

If two women have sex....well how can they really spread it unless you know they actually 'release' into the other woman?

btw...i dont want to have sex im not even 18 so...

i was just wonderin

The virus is carried through bodily fluids into open sores and the blood stream (semen, blood, vaginal excretion etc)
For example, you give a ******** to an HIV infected male and the virus enters your body through a cold sore, a canker, a small cut on the tongue or you swallow it and you have introduced the virus to your body.
So man on man it is passed through sperm, pre-***, saliva also (but that would take buckets of it)
Woman on woman is the same, if one woman goes down on another she's ingesting the bodily fluids.

Make more sense? There's limitless information, sounds like it's time to educate yourself.

Good for you for asking kiddo! ;o)

STDs can be spread by any bodily fluid transfer. Whether it be sperm, saliva, etc. Condoms are always a good practice because they are the easiest, cheapest, and most effective way of preventing the spread of STDs. Many health organizations will advise you to use condoms even when having oral sex (which is actually the most common way STDs are spread).

Be safe.

lesbian sex, gay sex. STD can still spread in ANY bodily fluids (which mean sperm, woman's lubrication in the clitoris, saliva (small amount, blood, etc) there also there is no such thing as gay or lesbian sex has less chance on getting STD, its all equal even "straight" sex. get your facts right hmmmm. always wear condom to reduce risk period.

STDs are passed from one naturally wet body tissue to another naturally wet body tissue. What I mean by "naturally wet body tissue" is mucus membrane, or places like the inside of your mouth. So just think of where these "wet" places are:

1) inside the mouth;
2) anus and rectum;
3) inside the penis;
4) inside the vulva or inner labia;

If the infected part of any of these four areas comes in contact with any of these four areas in another person, then it's possible for STD germs to be transmitted. That would mean that all of the following combinations are possible:

1) mouth to mouth;
2) mouth to anus;
3) mouth to penis;
4) mouth to labia;
5) anus to penis;
6) anus to labia;
7) penis to labia;
8) labia to labia;

Meh, Bodily fluids such as semen, vaginal secretions and blood. You can get KSHV by just kissing.

Yes that's why they use condoms. The anal cavity is delicate and anal sex can cause abrasions..cuts/tears and that makes the risk for an STD even greater. Also it's good to wear a condom even if you know both people are STD free because there are germs in the anus that you don't really want anywhere else but the anus.

Lesbian sex is much safer than gay or straight sex.

STDs spread in more than a way:
skin to skin
mouth to genital

if lesbians have oral sex and one "release"s into the other's mouth.. if this gurl has a STD big chance the other will have to..

if there's frictions between the genitals.. gurls or guys.. STDs can be transmitted too..

if there is use of the same sex toys with males or females.. without cleaning them really good... STDs can be transmitted..

the best protection is having safe sex.. that means using condoms if you're a guy, and dental dam if you're a gurl (when having oral that is) but for genital-genital contact with the females there is no way for protection.. you can't use a condom (gurls use condoms too u kno .. )and you can't use a dental dam..

the stds arent in the sperm, theyre in the fluid of the semen. but yes, its pretty much through the semen, though ive also heard its possible to spread back to the top through the rectal mucous he's exposed to. its really hard for two women to get aids from lesbian sex.
