AT this point in time it is almost exactly evenly divided.

Historically it has been more common for gay men.

The vector by which the infection spread to the U.S. was through bisexual prostitutes in Haiti -- prior to the U.S. the spread was heterosexual -- in countries to which it spread from the U.S. it was homosexual - - but things are equalizing now -- as is normative with a viral infection -- spread from initial infective vectors always flattens an epidemic.

NEVER make the mistake of thinking that a community to which you belong is immune to any sexually transmitted disease however, it is behavior, not preference that allows HIV to spread. We would prefer not to see you or anyone else dead.

It's still more common for gay men to have HIV/AIDs, but it's becoming more common among straight men and straight women as well. Unfortunatly there still is not the level of active use of protective sex then there should be to lessen the numbers in any sexual orientation.

Gay men, because it's easier to get AIDS from unprotected anal sex, becasue anal tissue tears more easily than vagianl tissue. But, that has nothing to do with them being gay, but with having unprotected sex and promiscuity.

its actually more common among men who have sex with men that do not identify as gay than among actual gay men. so basically its more common for men on the downlow (who identify as straight) to get HIV.

Do you mean America, or are you saying "us"? And if so, what does that mean?

probalbly gay men, considering straight men dont have sex with other men. (most of the time xD)
