Infected now or infected then?

I was wondering that most teenagers nowdays start having sexual intercourse, it is not healthy at all. My resons are obvious, you get infected. You can get HIV, AIDs STIs, but I don't understand, when you become an adult of like 21 - 24, how is it safer to have sexual intercourse. Many people after marriage do this, but they are least likely to be infected, how? Scientfic answers will be the best, also spiritual answers.

It's not safer. I think older people are more likely to have "safe" sex. The rate of condom use among teens is way lower than it should be.

It's strange how many people are worried about pregnancy, but don't think about the FATAL diseases they can get.
